I'm watching my weight,
Holding my tongue,
Catching my breath.

I'm hoping for love,
Waiting for fate,
Stalling for time.

I'm drawn to the chase,
Quick to the hoop,
Hip to the scene.

I'm hanging by fire,
Driving by fear,
Waking by night.

I'm playing through pain,
Jangling through June,
Soaring through space.

I'm high on speed,
Low on fuel,
Stuck on you.
